Lord of My Schedule

8 “For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” Matthew 12:8

It’s easy for me to say Jesus is Lord, but still live like I’m the one in charge. I love having a plan, staying productive, and keeping things moving. Before I know it, I’m asking God to bless my schedule instead of surrendering it to Him.

When Jesus called Himself Lord of the Sabbath, He wasn’t just arguing about a day off. He was making a much bigger point: He has authority over every part of my life. My calendar, my pace, my priorities, even my heart.

Following Him is not about squeezing Jesus into my plans. It’s about giving my plans over to Him and trusting His way is better, even when it messes up my perfect schedule.

Lord, You are not just my Savior. You are the Lord of my life. Help me surrender my plans today, trust your direction, and follow wherever You lead.
